Directions from Faro airport (takes approximately 20 mins):
Collect your hire car at Faro airport and follow the exit signs out of the airport.
(With many of the car hire places you can only turn right out of their car park and then you will need to go down to the bottom, round the mini roundabout and come back up again to exit the airport).
Follow the signs to take you to the A22 which is signposted Portimao, Lisboa and Albufeira.
Continue on the A22 towards Lisboa and Loule.
After six kilometres bear right still following the A22 signs towards Lisboa, Portimao and Albufeira.
After a further six kilometres come off at the second exit 12 which is signposted Quateira, Almancil and Vilamoura.
Follow it round and join the straight part of the road on the left.
Follow the signs to Quarteira.
After passing the Aquashow water park on the right hand side, the boat centre on the left and ‘Moveis’ on the right, you will come to a roundabout.
Turn right at the roundabout which is signposted Vila Sol hotel and golf course. Almost immediately after turning in, you will hit a "T" junction, turn right and follow the road (care there are speed bumps). Keep along this road for (about 1 km) passing first, white apartments then villas on your left. You will then come to the new terracotta apartments with green fencing around. Stop by the second gate and congratulations, you have now arrived!
