Waterpark
For families, the fantastic Aquashow water park is less than 5 mins away and will keep kids entertained all day with its choice of slides and shutes etc.
- Aquashow also includes a Portuguese history museum, zoo area, mini golf and a theme park of over 300 birds including birds of prey.
- Aqualandia ensures that younger children are not left out of the fun and includes a childrens pool and mini water park made up of slides, mini foams and water jets coming from colourful mushrooms and other enchanting figures.
- Europe’s biggest watercoaster at 23.5 metres high and 740 metres of track both in and out of the water should leave thrill seekers on a high with the ride lasting just over 5 minutes. Waiting times shouldn’t be too long either as the ride copes with up to 890 people an hour.
- Wild snake is a ‘black hole’ slide in the form of a snake coiled around a 16 metre high tree. Descending on a 1 or 2 people float, you slide through the snake and splash out of its mouth into the slow river.
- If that isn’t enough the Oasis tropical park is made up of flamingo gardens, toucans and other exotic birds in an environment designed to be as close to their natural habitat as possible. There is an incubation and recuperation clinic for birds and an interesting show of parrots.
Aquashow is considered to have the safest and highest standard operating procedures in the Algarve and is open 10am - 17.30 (18.30 July & August).
